Designed with high-attenuation Twin Cup technology, the headset provides an SNR rating of 31 dB, helping protect users working in areas with high levels of industrial noise. The integrated dynamic noise-cancelling boom microphone helps minimise surrounding background noise, allowing speech to remain clear during radio transmissions.
The P3E helmet attachment allows the headset to be mounted directly to compatible safety helmets rather than using a conventional headband. 3M states that the mounting system is suitable for 3M PELTOR helmets and many other compatible helmet brands.
A J11 / TP-120 connection allows the headset to be connected to compatible two-way radios through the appropriate 3M PELTOR PTT adaptor, making it a versatile solution for professional radio users working in potentially explosive environments.
