Push-to-Talk over Cellular technology uses mobile data connectivity to transmit voice communications between compatible devices.
Instead of relying on conventional radio frequencies and local repeater infrastructure, PoC radios communicate through a supported communication platform using cellular networks.
This allows users to communicate over much greater distances, subject to network availability.
The Hytera P50E requires an appropriate SIM/data connection and compatible PoC service to enable push-to-talk operation.
