The Icom IC-F2000 is a compact and durable UHF handheld two-way radio designed for reliable everyday business communications.
Combining a slim design with powerful audio, IP67 waterproof protection and advanced worker safety functions, the IC-F2000 is ideal for professional users who need dependable communications throughout the working day.
Operating on the UHF frequency band, the IC-F2000 is particularly suited to communication in and around buildings, making it an excellent choice for warehouses, schools, hospitality venues, retail environments, security teams and facilities management.
The IC-F2000 has been designed to withstand demanding professional environments.
Its IP67-rated enclosure allows the radio to withstand immersion in up to 1 metre of water for 30 minutes while also preventing the ingress of dust, dirt, sand and mud.
Despite its rugged design, the radio has a slim body measuring approximately 24.5mm deep, making it comfortable to wear throughout long shifts.
The IC-F2000 features a large internal speaker capable of producing up to 1500mW audio output.
Combined with Icom's built-in BTL amplifier, this helps provide loud and intelligible communications even in busy or noisy working environments.
A built-in motion sensor allows the IC-F2000 to detect the position and movement of the radio.

The supplied waterproof BP-279 1485mAh lithium-ion battery provides approximately 14 hours of operating time under typical operating conditions.

The IC-F2000 can announce the selected channel number when the channel selector is rotated.
This allows users to identify or change channels without needing to look directly at the radio.
A built-in inversion voice scrambler provides up to 16 selectable scrambling codes, helping increase privacy for analogue communications.
