The IC-F52D / IC-F62D is the latest addition to Icom's IDAS family, replacing Icom's popular IC-F51 / IC-F51V analogue series. It's a small, extremely compact and easy-to-use digital two-way radio packed full of the latest technology and advanced features. The IC-F52D / IC-F62D can use Mixed Mode Analogue, NXDN or DPMR.
Despite its small size, the IC-F52D / IC-F62D features built-in Bluetooth, Voice Record, Active Noise Cancellation technology and Over The Air Programming.
Emergency features aren't lacking, either. The IC-F52D / IC-F62D includes Motion and Stationary detection sensors, Lone Worker, Man Down and an Emergency button to aid user safety.
Icom's intelligent battery management helps to extend the battery life.
The radio features a 14 dot-matrix backlit LCD display with status icons, plus backlit buttons for ease of use in low lighting conditions.
The cast-metal chassis on the IC-F52D / IC-F62D contributes to its IPX67 waterproof and dustproof rating, making it an ideal choice for outdoor use such as construction sites and rugged enough for a season of hire.
