The Icom IC-F6400D is a powerful professional UHF digital mobile two-way radio designed for reliable communications in vehicles, control rooms and fixed-base installations.
Operating across the 380–470 MHz UHF frequency range, the IC-F6400D combines Icom's IDAS digital technology with analogue FM compatibility, allowing businesses to migrate from analogue to digital communications while continuing to use existing infrastructure where required.
A high-resolution colour display, Active Noise Cancelling, digital voice recording, GPS and flexible remote-head installation options make the IC-F6400D an excellent mobile radio for demanding professional environments.
The IC-F6400D uses a high-resolution trans-reflective colour LCD that provides excellent visibility in bright daylight, inside vehicles and in low-light environments.
Functions and menu options are clearly displayed, with a dedicated night mode available for vehicle use after dark.
Icom's Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) technology reduces unwanted background noise to help keep conversations clear.
This makes the IC-F6400D particularly useful in commercial vehicles, manufacturing facilities, warehouses, construction environments and other noisy workplaces.
The IC-F6400D can record both incoming and outgoing radio communications.
When used with a compatible microSD card, recordings can be stored by the radio and replayed either directly from the unit or through a computer.

An integrated GPS receiver provides positioning functionality for fleet and mobile applications.
Location information can be sent alongside voice or status calls and can be used with compatible Automatic Vehicle Location (AVL) solutions.
