Icom MA-510TR Class B AIS Transponder

The Icom MA-510TR is a Class B AIS transponder in a compact, stand-alone unit with an easy-view display and a host of advanced features that assist navigation and safety. 

• 4.3-inch Color TFT Display: Wide viewing angle, clear visibility in direct sunlight or at night; displays vessels with red and yellow color-coding for danger / safety assessment.
• AIS Target Tracking: Displays all AIS-equipped vessels; highlights those within 6 nautical miles or 60 minutes from CPA as "Danger", and shows pre-set 'Friends'. Details are accessed by selecting a target and pressing [ENT].
• Simplified navigation: Guides you to a specified waypoint or AIS target. You can assign a maximum of 100 favourite locations or points of interest.
• Collision Alarm Function: Alerts through visual and audible signals when potential collisions are detected, enhancing situational awareness.
• Silent Mode Feature: Allows for security and privacy by turning off AIS transmission, while still receiving other vessels' AIS data.
• Man Overboard (MOB) Navigation: Quickly marks MOB location for efficient rescue operations.
• Digital Selective Calling (DSC): Supports individual DSC calls when integrated with compatible Icom VHF radios.
• NMEA 2000 and NMEA 0183 Connectivity: Plug and play connectivity for integration with external navigation devices (transceiver, plotter device, marine radar or GPS receiver).
• USB Connectivity: Allows for AIS data output to third-party applications via USB.
• Supplied GPS Antenna: Includes a 66 channel GPS receiver with SBAS function for enhanced positioning accuracy.
