The Motorola PMAE4079A is a wideband UHF slim whip antenna designed for compatible Motorola MOTOTRBO handheld radios operating across the 403–527MHz frequency range.
Its approximately 15cm low-profile whip design provides coverage across the full UHF frequency band, making it a versatile choice for radio fleets operating on different UHF frequencies. Integrated GPS support also enables location-based features when the antenna is fitted to a compatible GPS-equipped radio.
The PMAE4079A replaces the earlier Motorola PMAE4068A antenna.
The PMAE4079A may also be compatible with selected Motorola MOTOTRBO Ion and regional radio variants that use the same antenna connection.
Please confirm that your radio is a UHF model operating within the 403–527MHz frequency range before ordering. This antenna is not suitable for VHF versions of the radios listed above.
Intrinsic-safety approval applies only when the antenna is used as part of a complete approved radio, battery and accessory configuration. Certification should be confirmed before use in a hazardous environment.
