These terms and conditions are governed by and will be interpreted in accordance with English law and the English courts will have exclusive jurisdiction to resolve any disputes between us.

13 Licensing

The majority of business two way radios require an OFCOM operator’s license.  The only exception is PMR446 radios which are a low powered license free radio.

The business radio license options are listed here. A free service is available to help customers apply to Ofcom for a licence, and to program their radios. 

Radio Programming

Radiotrader provides a free programming service for all radios supplied (up to 10 channels) with basic CTCSS / DCS tones.  There is an extra charge for more channels or if additional features such as caller ID etc is required.  Additional programming is charged at £20.00 per half hour.

It is the buyers responsibility to ensure that the radio equipment supplied by us is correctly licensed.  Amateur Radios or radios converted to amateur radio frequencies will only be supplied to licensed operators.  Air band radios will only be supplied to customers who currently hold the appropriate licence.  MSA radios will only be supplied to customers with a selcall ID.

Radio Re-stocking Charge and Order Cancellation Charge

There is a 20% re-stocking / order cancellation charge for any cancelled orders or returned orders which the equipment is not defective.

Delivery Charges

Delivery Costs

1.1.The delivery costs presented at the time of checkout are based on an average website order.

1.2. Please note that for larger orders, additional surcharges may apply to cover the increased cost of postage.

1.3. We reserve the right to adjust delivery costs for orders that exceed our standard size or weight limits. You will be informed of any additional charges before your order is processed for picking.

2.1. Alternatively, you have the option to arrange for the collection of your order. Select the "Collect in-store" option during the checkout process, and we will provide you with instructions for pickup.
